What is Avo?

Avo is the online mega-convenience store for employees and residents. Since your company or building has partnered with Avo, you now have access to free, same-day delivery of thousands of products including groceries, alcohol, household goods, personal care items, pet products, and more.

Is there really no delivery fee or minimum order requirement?

Nope! Even for single-item orders, such as a single tube of toothpaste, a bottle of wine, or a single avocado, you will never be charged a delivery fee.

Can I really just order a single item and not be charged any fees?

Yes! You can place as many orders of single items as you’d like. You can even place multiple orders on the same day.  Just let us know if you’d like them to be packaged together and we’ll do our best to make that happen.

What if I want to leave you special instructions for my order?

On the Checkout page, there is a section called “Order Notes” where you can leave us any instructions related to your order.  Feel free to also leave any feedback here!

What products are available at the store?

We keep our store up to date with thousands of products including groceries, alcohol, household goods, personal care items, pet products, and more.  We’re curating our product offering on a daily basis, so let us know if there are any items/categories you’d like to see added to the store!

Can I order refrigerated or frozen items?

Absolutely! Items that require refrigeration will be placed in a thermal freezer bag that keep items refrigerated to ensure that your items stay fresh.  We also include ice packs when necessary to ensure that frozen items stay that way.

Delivery

When can I place orders, and when will they be delivered?

The Avo website operates 24/7. The delivery date for your order is determined based on what time of day you place your order:

  • Before 11:00am: Orders will arrive on the same-day .
  • After 11:00am: Orders will arrive the following business day.

Office orders will be delivered no later than 6pm, and residential orders will be delivered by 7pm.

Where will my order be dropped off?

All orders are delivered in personalized bags which you will be able to pick up from the designated location in your building.  Not sure where to look?  Don’t hesitate to ask us!

What days do you deliver?

We currently offer delivery 5 days/week, Monday through Friday. Orders placed after 11:00am on Fridays will arrive the following Monday.

Should I leave a tip for my delivery person?

No – we actually do not accept any tips!  We take pride in fairly compensating all of our employees, so the only thing you ever pay for is the products you buy.  🙂

Customer Service + Returns

What’s your return policy?

If you are unsatisfied with any item and wish to make a return, our return policy is hassle-free and easy: 

  • Contact our Customer Service team via text or email to let them know which products you wish to return.
  • Leave the products you wish to return or replace at your Avo pickup location with a note saying “Avo Return” and we will be happy to send you a new product or provide a refund. 
    • If you qualify for Home Delivery, simply place the items you wish to return in the Avo bag outside your door just before your next order/delivery. The delivery team will pick up the returned items when they drop off the next order.
    • During the COVID crisis, we will not be accepting return of opened items. If an item is incorrect or not to your standards, send a picture of the item to the Customer Service team and we will refund you for the item. No return will be necessary. 
  • Please be advised that some products cannot be returned due to FDA Regulations, such as baby food.
